Abstract
  • This project developed recommendations for formational response to the needs of international students at Ashland Theological Seminary (ATS). While focusing on the seminary community, this qualitative research grows increasingly relevant to churches and organizations working cross-culturally, as America becomes more multicultural. Research question: In light of the ATS commitment to spiritual formation in community, how can we better respond to the needs of international students. Through in-depth interviews and phenomenological research, three reports were presented to a team of experts: 1) verified interviews, 2) needs description, and 3) formational recommendations. The evaluators verified the accuracy and reliability of the project.
