- Two questions to be asked when equipping churches in missions are: Toward whom should energies be directed? and, What educational strategies should be used? This data-based project answers these questions. Chapter 1 introduces project parameters. Two foundational theoretical studies follow. Chapter 2, an in-depth examination of Christ's ministry selectivity, addresses question 1. Chapter 3 examines secular and christocentric learning theories, responding to question 2. Subsequently, chapter 4 presents design components of a leadership-based church missions curriculum. Chapter 5 evaluates the field-tested program's successful implementation. Lastly, four appendices exhibit program curricula and handbooks, and the project's data-gathering instrument.
