In Pusan many families' fathers are on ship for a long time. The long absence of the fathers will have undesirable influences on youths. What problems stem from such a condition? What pastoral program can measure them? Research was conducted using a questionnaire for two groups of juveniles: one having absent fathers and the other living with fathers. Pastors were interviewed whose churches have youths with absent fathers. A pastoral program appropriate for juveniles with absent fathers concludes the study.
