Abstract
  • This thesis studies the development of a process of critical theological reflection from a Christian feminist perspective. The process aimed to assist principals in Catholic education to identify their own faith development needs and to clarify their ministry in today's cultural climate. The process was developed with seven principals in the Halton Roman Catholic School Board (Burlington, Ontario) from June 1990 to June 1991. The research is qualitative and the results indicate that small base community experience of theological reflection has deep ministerial significance for leaders in Catholic education, and that the process developed is an effective adaptable, adult learning model for religious education.
