- Abstract
- The thesis of this dissertation is that God has established steps by which the Church of Jesus Christ can help prepare the way for Him to bring about revival in His time and according to His plan. This conclusion was confirmed by a careful study of revival history and of pertinent scripture passages. This dissertation is written about revival from a Congregational perspective, focusing on individuals of Congregational persuasion who have been used as leaders in revival history and Congregational churches which have been impacted by the results of revival experiences. The purpose of this dissertation is to lead the reader through this same process of study and investigation so the reader will seek revival in his life and in his world.
