This project motivates, trains, and empowers members of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church (Greensboro, NC) for Christian service, encouraging members previously disenfranchised to share in all facets of ministry. In three workshops, informal group discussions, and five sermons related to motivating and empowering laypersons, the project generates increased interest in spiritual gifts for ministry and a handbook for volunteers.
