The author diagnosed that Korean worship has been seriously biased to the service of Word, so he provided a possible model for Korean worship renewal: 'The Dark Night service on Good Friday.' Through his research he showed diverse and practical approaches to create a worship plan. Two points were considered: the analysis of Robert Webber's 'Ancient-Future Worship', and practical approaches in designing worship service at 'Ilsan Kwanglim Methodist Church.' He stresses that Korean churches need to focus on the importance of worship of the Early Churches by inviting lay people to worship and achieve worship renewal for the future of Christianity.
