  • The model of worship developed in this thesis included six principles of worship: adoration, confession, petition, intercession, thanksgiving, and commitment. Each principle was developed from exegesis of relevant selections of Scripture. A worship project of five and one-half months involved the membership of the First Baptist Church, Laramie, Wyoming, as a test for the use of the principles. Based on the response from worship surveys and use of worship guides, the principles were determined as valid for application in the three stated categories. Sermon outlines, mid-week Bible studies, and Sunday evening mini workshop information is included in the appendix as educational material on worship.
