Abstract
  • The author proposed that a seminar on organizational learning theory, best practices, and assessment would improve capability and interest in organizational learning among the elders of Christ Community Church. Organizational learning, within the field of organizational development, is part of the management sciences. After extensive research, multiple seminars, and the use of assessment tools in both pre-tests and post-tests, it was concluded that organizational learning has broad applicability within the church and its leadership. In order to improve the relevance and applicability of organizational learning, the author rewrote an existing assessment tool into a church ministry context.
