Abstracto

An area of professional involvement for the author of this project is that of volunteerism within the local church. This Doctor of Ministry project is entitled 'The design and implementation of a volunteer development course for Broadway Church,' and details the design, presentation and follow-up strategy for its use in a local church. The project examines the history of the church, its current needs for volunteer leadership development, and provides a biblical and historical understanding the 'priesthood of all believers'. As well, it examines some general trends in volunteerism.
