The purpose of this project was to equip members of churches to minister to people who experience the death of a family member or friend. The project director attempted to equip members of churches by accomplishing three goals. First, the project director researched the field of grief. Second, the project director developed four grief seminars. The seminars included a biblical rationale for establishing an on-going grief ministry, a working understanding of the grief process, and knowledge of how to minister to grieving people. Third, the project director equipped adult members of churches to minister effectively to grieving persons.
