  • The case studies contained in this dissertation were designed to test the following hypothesis: an effective Christian leader maximizes his strengths, minimizes his limitations and consistently grows in Christlike character while influencing others to develop and accomplish a common vision. In this dissertation two pastors of visibly growing churches in the United States were selected as subjects for evaluating the hypothesis. It is also part of a larger project designed to develop tools to help pastors be more equipped for leadership in the local church. The conclusion reached as the result of this research is that the subjects of the two case studies in this dissertation do validate the hypothesis.
