 - Abstract
 - This project enlists and trains African American women who have been substance abusers to facilitate a pilot program for women addicts in Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church (Washington, DC). Using Scripture-based counseling, mentoring, and their experience with female-sensitive issues in addiction, the counselors seek to produce a spiritual climate in which African American female substance abusers can anticipate, pray for, and receive liberation through spiritual intervention.
