The purpose of the project was to improve the skill of life application in the project director's expository preaching. The project followed the skills enhancement model. First, the project director researched five selected expositors' approaches to life application. Second, the project director prepared and delivered three expository sermons implementing the principles of life application discovered in the research. Finally, five professional peers evaluated the three project sermons along with three sermons randomly selected from the project director's prior year of preaching. The project resulted in a more intentional, informed approach to life application in the project director's preaching.
