  • What does it mean to walk with God? To walk with God is to trust and obey God, to have faith in God's promises, and to embark on a walk of lifetime obedience in pursuit of those promises and in response to the divine command. This author studied the hithpael stem of the Hebrew verb, 'halak,' in Genesis as it was used with Enoch, Noah, and Abraham. These men show by their example that walking with God leads to life, namely, escaping the curse of sin, the judgment of God, and gaining righteousness.
