Abstrait

There are many Chinese churches in the middle west states were facing a shortage of formally trained preachers. Yet many of these church members were well educated and some of these lay-leaders could be trained as lay-preachers. The objective of this project is to train and empower a group of lay-leaders to preach in the first generation Chinese immigrant churches. The project will conduct 16-20 sessions of training, some practical preaching opportunities, and the evaluations. Through the whole training process, the writer seeks to write a lay preaching training curriculum summary and lay leader self study guide.
