Abstracto

Training in basic methods of teaching adults, combined with instruction in adult development and bible doctrine, that is synthesized by a practice teaching experience with evaluation by peers, will equip individuals to teach adults in Sunday School. The author reviewed the basic Southern Baptist materials in the field of adult education. These include the Southern Baptist Church Study Course materials, the works of LeRoy Ford and Lucien Coleman, Jr, and more. Use of a pre/post test and peer evaluation in the student teaching process demonstrate that the method used for adult teacher training is effective.
