- Abstract
- This thesis project is a case study research project of Salem Baptist Church, a church with nearly 100 years of history and ministry on the south side of Chicago. This research project states that a ministry study committee can define the major factors which influence ministry in the light of relocation. The project uses Kurt Lewin's theory of change (unfreeze - float - refreeze) as a blueprint to guiding the research. Demographic studies and a ministry attitude survey provide the data from which the conclusions are drawn. Major factors influencing ministry are derived from the study and ministry goals are established.
