Abstracto

A problem in expanding small-group ministry in churches is the training of new leaders. This project addresses the problem by creating a training manual based on a mentor-apprentice relationship. It guides the participants through eight group sessions, allowing the apprentice to study, observe and practice small-group concepts under the supervision of the mentor. The project includes a history of small-group ministry at Park Bible Church in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, an annotated list of biblical principles related to small-group ministry, indicators for small-group leaders and evaluation by the participants and writer.
