- Abstract
- This project encourages members of the Congregational Church in Somers, Connecticut, to recognize gifts that each has received from God, to understand ministry beyond church activities, and to become involved in broader ministry. The project presents workshops involving Bible study, guided meditation, individual activities, and group discussions in order to focus attention of faith and its influence on social issues. Equality in education was a focus issue these workshops. The workshops stimulated increased awareness of relationships between church life and issues in the wider community.
