  • This project investigates the methods and activities that made the early Christians a vaible community. It entails placing ministries in urban areas where there is not visible Christian witness. The main findings are 1) the early Christian has special virtues (dunamis) and boldness (parrhesia) as integral components; 2) behavioral changes necessitate commitment; 3) people who feel needed, respected, and committed to well-being of others stand a better change of surviving life problems; 4) interdependence and optimum use of resources are conducive to human renewal and community; and 5) church has relevance and value today.
