Abstracto

The purpose of the project was to develop a long-range plan for ministry that reflects the thought, opinion, dream and vision of the congregation and the needs of the church and the community. A portion of the project design was given to enhance congregational participation. This design led to greater involvement and ownership of the final ministry plan by the congregation. The process was an excellent resource for the people of Calvary Baptist Church to discover and understand God's mission for the church, and enabled the people to focus this understanding of mission into the development of concrete goals and actions.
