Abstrait

The project created a more effective grief ministry in the First Baptist Church of Ashland, Kentucky, by training a select number of lay persons to minister to grief victims. Participants completed a grief workshop consisting of six two-hour sessions. Pretest and posttest scores revealed limited yet substantial success. As a result of the project, thirty-four lay persons provide grief ministry, both in the church and in the community.
