  • This case study examines the relationship between the self-understanding and the devotional life pattern of eight Christians using an intentionally personalized approach to devotional life development. Spiritual well-being is defined as Christlikeness related to mankind as created in the image of God. The eight categories of Christian maturity measured by the Religious Status Inventory, developed at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, further refine the definition of spiritual well-being. The study concludes that four influences shape a Christian's devotional life pattern: theological orientation, personality type, spiritual life history, and current life situation.
