Abstracto

The thesis of this project was that a single parent seminar offered in a local church would prompt measurable personal growth in the single parent participants. Teaching methods included didactic sessions, individual assignments, and group dialogue. Experimental and descriptive evaluation methodologies were used with an experimental and a control group. Personal growth was evaluated on the experimental group's cognitive and attitudinal awareness of the life-coping skills available to assist single parents in meeting their needs. Growth was observed in the participants' cognitive and attitudinal awareness of life-coping skills.
