Abstract
  • This project was designed to provide a structure through which lay persons can be involved in pastoral caregiving in a local congregation. Addressing the attitudes that favor a professional, ordained ministry, theological and biblical justification is given for every member in ministry. A sermon series highlighting the interrelatedness of persons called and gifted to build up the body of Christ is included. Project showed positive results in that lay shepherding ministry has successfully been established.
