- This project proposes, develops, and implements a training process designed to increase self-esteem and self-motivation among African American male youth in Springdale Baptist Church (Memphis, Tenn) and its surrounding neighborhood. Six sessions of learning experiences enable men of the church to lead youth discussion groups addressing spiritual formation, family responsibility, conflict resolution, leadership development. Field trips and lectures inform these discussions.
