  • The Church of the Nazarene in the USA is a pluralistic church both socially and theologically. Our shift from the right to the left socially and theologically has had a profound impact on the use of the intinerate evangelist at the end of the 20th century. A survey instrument was used to determine the validity of this thesis. The survey did not prove this thesis but did indicate the declining use of the itinerate evangelist. Some social and theological indicators were identified.
