  • The project examined the relationship between program and a local church's world ministries giving. One hundred nineteen medium-size congregations of the Oklahoma District Council of the Assemblies of God were studied with concentration given to the auxiliaries reported by those congregations. The hypothesis was based upon the concept of a unified mission. Implementation was guided by the belief that multiple functioning and giving auxiliaries affected positively world ministries giving. The project failed to establish such a positive relationship due to disparities even among churches reporting the same number of auxiliaries. There were surprising results involving world ministries percentage giving.
