  • Since 1970 the number of Presbyterian Church of Korea military chaplains has decreased while the organization of the military chaplaincy itself has progressed. This project studies this decrease through a review of the history of the Korean military chaplaincy. It uses questionnaires to discover the current conditions in the military chaplaincy and adapts this information to the situation in the PCK. Finally, within the framework of Missio Dei theology the project discusses the three offices of priest, prophet and king which the chaplain holds.
