- Abstract
- The thesis establishes the importance and relevance of cross-cultural ministry for the Anglican Church in Australia and develops a biblical rationale for cross-cultural ministry leading to a preferred model for adoption in the Diocese of Sydney. It then describes the design process for a training course for newly appointed ministers, its initial failure and then after further theological reflection a successful outcome. It concludes with an assessment of the course and its future potential for the church in Australia.
