  • This project proposes a program of revitalization for a local United Methodist congregation by building bridges for evangelism through need-centered ministries to the whole person. Seven dimensions of human beings--physical, intellectual, emotional, social, sexual, spiritual, and volitional--provide practical 'umbrellas' for a focus on wholistic ministry, despite the complexity and diversity of human needs. Church members earn the right to evangelize when they are willing to meet people in meeting their perceived needs, thus building a positive bridge for evangelism.
