- Abstract
- This project attempts to engage serious lay students in a six session study of stewardship that utilizes selected texts in Luke as a mirror of present practices and attitudes, and then 'lifts out' a vision to guide future endeavor. The process of reflective, constructive critique is based on the concept of theopraxis via John Douglas Hall. The study sessions seek to discern mid-range principles and engage the participants in a both a self-reflective process and personal vision building process. The goal is to enhance the participant's identity as a child of God and his or her role in God's economy. In the process, a more faithful steward may evolve.
