- Development and implementation of a senior citizen ministry was a memorable event in the history of the 12-year old church. Through the implementation of the program, some of the elderly's accumulated unmet needs were satisfied by their enjoyment of the programmed activities. They learned how to take care of their friends by praying for, calling, and listening to each other. Persons involved in the ministry, the writer, the senior citizen ministry subcommittee members, and volunteers learned to serve others and experienced the pleasure that the Lord gives to the people who serve others.
