  • A survey of growing churches in Australia and New Zealand examines the particular strengths and weaknesses of each and reflects on both the socio-political background and the influence of the charismatic movement through the seventies and eighties. The churches also exhibited strong small group activities. This is compared with the pattern of the New Testament church and with current developments of cell group churches in various parts of the world. The difference is examined and conclusions drawn concerning how a cell group church might be established in a new area.
