  • In the dissertation the author summarizes his conclusions regarding the historical setting, the message, and the application for the church today, of the redemptive message of the letter of James in the New Testament. Following are some of the major theological issues from the text: Christology, the Law, faith and deeds, and spiritual growth. The author concludes that the epistle of James is a thoroughly Christian work that fits the setting of the dispersion of Acts 8. It should therefore be our joy to read and apply this epistle as a message of redemption.
