Abstracto

This study measured the effectiveness of a locally developed guidance tool that leads teachers in planning and leading adult educational experiences. A set of guiding questions was designed to lead teachers to plan class experiences. The guiding questions were pre-tested, interviews were conducted, and the guiding questions were refined. A teacher used the guiding questions to create and lead an adult class. The resulting class was observed and evaluated. Follow-up interviews evaluated the guiding questions in diverse settings. The study showed the teaching tool to be effective in guiding a teacher to create an engaging class for participants.
