Abstrait
  • This project proposes to nurture new church members and newcomers to faith more effectively through a mentor/companionship model based on the covenant discipleship concept. When church members actively mentor and become companions to new members, then newcomers feel that they are more a part of the congregation and become more active in the life of the church. Mentors who participate in a covenant relationship become more aware of the church's ministry and are more likely to take an active role in service of the congregation.
