  • This project proposes that solutions to leadership problems in any local congregation lie in considering the congregation as a whole and analyzing the relationship system that makes up the congregation. Natural systems theory provides a framework for understanding the relationship system and centering prayer provides a tool for effecting change in that system. Systems theory and centering prayer together provide a way to effect radical change in a relatively short period of time.
