Abstract
  • The purpose of this missiological project in the Russian language is twofold: first, to provide information to Soviet believers on world religions; and second, to show characteristics of historical heresies and modern cults generally and in relation to world religions. The author hopes that the evidences given will help readers to appreciate the uniqueness of biblical faith and enable them to discern the nature of new religious groups. The method of research used is historical. The challenge of nonChristian religions and modern cults can be met through the knowledge of the uniqueness of biblical revelation as well as through evangelism and instruction of new believers so that they understand basic differences between biblical faith and other religious systems.
