Abstract
  • Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate how church leaders develop effective leadership teams in congregations. This was conducted through a review of literature from the world of business and examples from Scripture. A survey of eight leaders in different congregations was conducted using a qualitative approach. The research has revealed a number of strategies and practical steps that can be taken by leaders. Lying behind these approaches there must be emphasis upon the twin needs to develop unity and vision.
