- My project emerged out of concern for people broken from life controlling problems, such as, substance, relational and/or behavioral addictions. Therefore, this project employed a small group for the purpose of leading people to experience restoration by experiencing a greater sense of community and transformation, hope and healing. The significant finding was that people experienced greater levels of acceptance and affirmation. Group participants also reported feeling less isolated and more connected to God and one another. The results of the study demonstrated the project did achieve its goal of helping participants experience greater health and wholeness.
