Abstract
  • This study represents a response to the perceived need within the charismatic movement to have a curriculum for church-based missionary preparation. Curriculum materials from 96 sources were evaluated according to specific criteria. Two sample courses were taught in a charismatic church and evaluated by student questionnaires before and after the courses. A five-stage missionary preparation progrm was developed for local churches including 62 hours of training. A 71 page chapter on theological and biblical reflections is included in the project which covers distinctives of a charismatic theology of missions with a particular emphasis on ecclesiology.
