Abstrait

This dissertation/project is written to be a catalyst in raising environmental consciousness in the Korean Church and society. Because of the modernization process South Korea's environmental situation is very critical. This study examines how one of the denominations, the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea (PROK), perceives and responds to the ecological crisis and copes with it missiologically. The study presents various suggestions for overcoming the ecological crisis in Korea.
