  • Like other people groups, Native American believers have distinct needs, challenges, and opportunities in their process of being formed into Christlikeness. Unfortunately, very little has been done to develop discipleship materials uniquely for Native people. This project presents a new spiritual formation process designed specifically for the students at the Indian Bible College in Flagstaff, Arizona. The author researched spiritual formation theory and Native American culture and Christianity. The project culminated in original research through the interviews of school staff, students, and Native ministry leaders; their responses were used to develop a culturally-sensitive strategy and the corresponding comprehensive materials.
