- This project explores whether or not there are connections between the liturgical seasons of the Christian year and contemporary life experiences and whether storytelling using metaphors is a way of making that connection. The writer worked with a small group of people who kept journals and shared life experiences around metaphors for the Christian seasons. The method of research was qualitative in that the writer was a participant observer using Whitehead's model of theological reflection. This process is an excellent way of building community and engaging in theological reflection with people of limited Christian memory.
