Abstracto

The problem addressed in this research project was: Can a church without professional resources develop lay resources to guide members through a process that helps those members discover their ministry niche? The project measured the effectiveness of a potential solution. The researcher designed and assessed a three-month procedure for training six lay 'ministry consultants' to be prepared to guide adult members of Faith Baptist Church through a course that teaches a process for identifying ministry niches that employ their spiritual resources. Evaluation took place through a postseminar, objective examination, observation studies, and tape-recorded interviews. The results indicated that the objectives had been accomplished.
