  • The purpose of the project was to discover to what degree the father-daughter relationship influences the spiritual identity of young adult women who were not married. The design of the project utilized an assessment tool to survey adult women between the ages of 20-29. The most prominent finding of this project was that the participants closely to strongly agreed that the daughter's relationship with the father contributed to the feelings of unworthiness in forming a relationship with Christ. The second prominent finding was the participants moderately agreed their father contributed to their lack of trust in God's care.
