Abstract
  • The thesis of this project was: lay leaders, when presented with biblical principles of leadership and ministry, will be motivated to become active ministers. The project was researched with a local church board of administration consisting of nine men. There were two facets of the project. An educational emphasis employed twelve school of ministry sessions. The experiential impact was highlighted by ten ministry reports from the board members. Some of the results included a greater awareness that all Christians are ministers; an increased understanding of and involvement in ministry. The difficulty in getting people to participate became apparent.
