Abstracto

The main question the author addressed was whether congregants are more likely to have a deeper communal experience when the Lord's Supper is shared weekly in a worship service. For this project the author celebrated the Lord's Supper during his church's regular service for six consecutive weeks. Special attention was given to the use of music, multimedia, and liturgy so the flow of worship would move the congregants to celebration of the sacrament. Even though the congregation did not want to continue weekly communion after the project, the results from the surveys did demonstrate that the project was spiritually beneficial.
